You don't have to hassle about remembering to turn off your iPod and hiding it from thieves or severe temperatures. It draws the power directly from your vehicle's DC12V output (cigarette lighter). It is turned off when you unplug your car key. There will be no more battery recharge problems.
It is an individual innovative device to play your desired songs in your car or boat. Typically, it does not require permanent and complicated installation. It offers an "installation-free" convenience. This product is an innovative wireless device that will let you play any music you download from your computer files. Remember, none of these features requires an iPod or Mp3 to operate. Now, you can play your portable music files to a newly designed technology without paying a costly price and keep your iPod or Mp3 as your private headphone.
It connection will give you a reasonable good sound quality, allowing you to listen to the music on your car player by turning your radio to a specific clear frequency. The sound quality is as good as your original car radio player.

can use it from 300ft away!!!! |
You can use this little wonder with an USB drive, SD memory card (like I do), or just an ordinary 3,5mm audio input. The other day I threw a party from my car! I parked it over 100ft from the stereo we were using and could listen to it perfectly! I must say I was away from the city, so there was zero interference from other sources. My car's battery was intact after nearly 4h of listening, so it must be low on the consuption side too!
In normal commute use, siting just inches away from the car stereo, it works flawlessly too, I can even find it from the next car (have actually tested it with a friend!). Sound quality is excelent for a FM transmitter, you just have to level up the volume a little bit and add more trebble. There isn't almost any background noise as I've seen in other FM transmitters (iRiver, for instance, sucks).
The only problem in my opiniion are the controls, not so responsive (laggy!). Large collections of music can be a pain to browse too (tip: don't use folders). I just turn it on - actually, in my case it is ALWAYS on, I just don't listen to it when I don't want to - and leave it alone. No playlists here tough.
I recommend this product very much, been using for 3 years and hundreads of hours. |

Only for USB and SD cards NOT mp3 players and not very user friendly |
The sound quality is very poor if you are connecting a mp3 player. But is good for SD cards and USB's.
The connector is not very good so a slight touch will restart the transmitter and then you again have to set the frequency. It would have been great if the transmitter could retain the frequency setting on restart.
You cant use the mp3 player so using an SD card to an Mp3 player makes it difficult as it goes back to the start of your playlist after every restart of the transmitter. So even for stopping the car at a gas station, you have to listen the songs from the start or manually go to the selected song. |

Never recommmend this to your friends... |
|
i do not even have a chance to use it because this device only "on" for 10 sec on the first song of my USB and this device just shut off and never able to on it again, fuse is good. so the only reason is this device have some hardware problem. do not even think of return this to the seller as you will need to pay for some misc fee and shipping handle fee too, do not worth it for this price. better to get a good device rather than having this bad experience and waste of money. |

Excellent sound quality for an FM transmitter |
|
I just received this item yesterday, and wow, I'm impressed! For the price, I don't think you can beat the sound quality. So far I've only tested my old school ipod mini and 2nd gen ipod shuffle - and both sound great on my car stereo! The only quirk is that although it charges the ipods thru the USB port, you can't play music with this connection. To play music and use the features on your ipod, you have to connect to the earphone jack with the audio cable. You also can't play music thru the earphone jack while the ipod is charging with the USB connection. A minor inconvenience, but the price and sound quality more than make up for it. |
